As July approaches, the rivers come alive with king salmon, coupled with significant runs of sockeye and chum salmon, making the waters a frenzy of activity. Soon after, vibrant Dolly Varden and pink salmon join the mix. Late July ushers in the arrival of Coho or silver salmon, which peak in abundance during late August while continuing to populate the river systems into September.
